UNIBYTE
Terms of Service
These terms cover the purchase and use of UniByte, a software menu for Counter-Strike 2. By buying a licence or using the software you accept them.
Draft for review. Replace the bracketed placeholders and have a lawyer check it before you start selling.
01What you are buying
A licence key grants you the right to use UniByte for the period you paid for. You are not buying the software itself, and no ownership or source code transfers to you.
Every duration includes the same feature set. The price reflects only how long your access runs.
02One key, one computer
On first use a key is tied to the hardware it runs on. The same key will not work on a second machine at the same time.
If you change parts, you can unlock the hardware from the client panel. This is limited to once every few days to stop keys from being shared.
03Risk you accept
Using third-party software with Counter-Strike 2 may breach the Counter-Strike 2 Subscriber Agreement and can result in your game account being suspended or permanently banned.
You use UniByte at your own risk. We do not issue refunds for banned or restricted game accounts, and we cannot recover an account for you.
We make no promise that the software will remain undetected. Anti-cheat systems change without warning.
04Availability and updates
After a game update the software may not work until a new build is released. Time lost this way does not extend your licence and is not grounds for a refund.
We may pause downloads or ask users to hold off on running the software. Such notices are published on our Discord.
05Refunds
A licence that has never been activated can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
Once a key has been activated on any computer, the digital content has been delivered and the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
Refunds are not given for game account bans, for a game update temporarily breaking the software, or for a change of mind after activation.
06What you may not do
Resell, rent, share or publish your licence key.
Reverse engineer, decompile, repackage or redistribute the software.
Publish the software, its files or its internals anywhere.
Use the software to attack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any system other than your own game client.
07Suspending a licence
We may revoke a licence without refund if it is shared, resold, used to abuse the service, or if payment is reversed after the key was issued.
08Liability
The software is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost game accounts, lost in-game items, lost time, or any indirect damage arising from use of the software.
Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
09Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on our Discord. Continuing to use the software after a change means you accept the new version.
